The Advisory Board has been established under the LIFE project No. LIFE14CAP/LV/000002 of the European Commission, “Capacity Building for the LIFE Programme implementation in Latvia” (CAP LIFE LAT), and is aimed at provision of the information support to the LIFE support unit under the Administration of Latvian Environmental Protection Fund to improve quality of the LIFE projects in Latvia at submission and implementation stages.
Purposes of the meeting are: acquaintance of members of the Advisory Board with the project achievements and the project homepage, information about the event “15 years of LIFE in Latvia” organised within CAP LIFE LAT and presentation of LIFE awards, discussion on the planned regional seminars and mentoring programme, as well as to listen to recommendations to the LIFE support unit on attraction of new applicants of LIFE projects. All members of the Advisory Board are invited to the meeting.
