During the meeting, participants of the Advisory Board became mutually acquainted, as well as listened to the information about the project No. LIFE14CAP/LV/000002 “Capacity Building for the LIFE Programme implementation in Latvia” (CAP LIFE LAT), the newly-established LIFE support unit, its objectives, strategy, and the actions planned for the nearest future. After examination of the information, the Board members shared their initiatives for the capacity building of the LIFE support unit, indicating the necessary training for the LIFE project writers and beneficiaries.
The Board members agreed to participate in ta mentoring programme established by CAP LIFE LAT, pointing at the same time on significant impact of such a programme on quality of implementation of the LIFE projects.
