{"id":308,"date":"2020-02-03T11:54:00","date_gmt":"2020-02-03T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8080\/?p=308"},"modified":"2025-12-17T10:37:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T08:37:23","slug":"life-peat-restore-invites-to-participate-in-an-international-conference-in-riga-latvia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifeplatforma-staging.needit.lv\/en\/life-peat-restore-invites-to-participate-in-an-international-conference-in-riga-latvia\/","title":{"rendered":"LIFE Peat Restore invites to participate in an international conference in Riga, Latvia"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n\tThe conference will focus on the following topics:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\trole of peatlands in climate change mitigation,<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tgreenhouse gas measurements and indirect assessment methods and their development, with special emphasis on GEST approach,<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tpeatland restoration for climate and biodiversity &ndash; experiences from different countries,<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tmonitoring of restoration success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n\tThe oral presentations will be provided by invited speakers (see the preliminary programme).
